Condition grades, stated plainly

Grades describe cosmetic condition only. Function is not graded, because we do not sell anything that does not work properly.

Pristine

Indistinguishable from new.

No visible marks at arm’s length or close up. Screen unmarked. Original finish intact.

Excellent

Light use, nothing you would notice in the hand.

Faint micro-scratches visible only under direct light. No dents, no screen marks.

Good

Visible wear, fully working.

Scratches and light scuffing on the case or edges. Screen may have minor marks that vanish when it is on.

Fair

Cosmetically marked, priced for it.

Clear dents, deep scratches or a marked screen. Everything works and it carries the same warranty.

  • Factory reset and activation lock cleared

Sell to us

Get a firm price for your device

Tell us what you have and its condition. We quote a price, you post it insured at our cost, and we pay on arrival if it matches. We do not re-quote on arrival as a tactic.

Game Boys, iPods, Walkmans and the rest — serviced, not just dusted off. New batteries, new belts, replaced screens where they were needed. Sold as working machines, not shelf ornaments.

Common questions

What does "certified pre-owned" mean here?

Every device is wiped, tested across 40 points by hand, graded for cosmetic condition and given a 12-month warranty. Nothing is sold on a seller's description — we test it ourselves.

Is the warranty real?

Yes. 12 months covering hardware failure that is not accidental damage. If it fails we repair it, replace it, or refund you. Battery health is covered against falling below the stated figure by more than 10 points in that period.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes, within 14 days, in the condition it arrived. Refunds go back to the original payment method once we have checked the device.

Are the iPhones unlocked?

Unless a listing says otherwise, yes, and activation lock is always cleared before a device leaves us. We will not sell a device we cannot verify as clean.

What do you pay for a device?

It depends on model, storage, battery health and cosmetic condition. Send us the details and we quote a firm price. If it arrives as described, that is what you get paid — we do not re-quote on arrival as a tactic.
